Union Ministers start visiting Tripura to settle odds for 2023 assembly election

Union Minister of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India, Arjun Munda has paid an official visit to Tripura from 12th 13th July, 2021.

Union Minister has been greeted by Rebati Tripura, MP, Lok Sabha & Shri Mevar Kumar Jamatia, Hon’ble Minister, Tribal Welfare, Govt. of Tripura at the Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport, Agartala.

During his visit, Minister has taken a review meeting at State Guest House regarding implementation of different Tribal Welfare schemes.

Mevar Kumar Jamatia, Minister, Tribal Welfare & Forest Department, Govt. of Tripura, Chief Executive Officer, TTAADC, Secretary, Tribal Welfare Department were also present in the meeting.

Union Minister has also reviewed the implementation of Forest Right Act and state Tribal Sub-plan.

Union Minister has appreciated the efforts of the state Govt. regarding implementation of different Govt. Schemes for socio economic upliftment of tribals of Tripura.

He has made a detail discussion on Pradhan Mantri Van Dhan Yojana and integrated development of tribal villages through Special Centre Assistance for Tribal Development (SCA toTD) and also emphasized on outcome based implementation for improving the status of tribals of the state.

Union Minister of Tribal Affairs has visited the Eklavya Model Day Boarding School (EMDBS) at Killa.

He has also visited Matarbari & offered prayer to Mata Tripurasundari.
