The union rural development minister Giriraj Singh arrived in Tripura on Saturday.
Union rural development minister Giriraj Singh arrived on a two day visit to the state to hold a meeting with the state government and review several important projects.
The senior minister, Giriraj Singh will hold a review of the rural development works undertaken by the present state government.
On the second day, the minister will interact with the Self Help Group members and visit the exhibition of the SHG products in presence of chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb and Deputy chief minister Jishnu Dev Varma at Rabindra Satakarshikhi Bhavan hall number one.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb welcomed him today at State Guest House, Agartala. In his tweet Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said “It is an honour to welcome Hon’ble Union Minister of Rural Development Shri Giriraj Singh Ji on his Three days visit to Tripura. We share common points of view and interests in promoting opportunities for uplifting the livelihood of people in rural areas”.
