Various steps have been taken to make Tripura drug free: CM Manik Saha

With the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, various developmental works are being done to improve the standard of sports.
Khelo Tripura has been launched in the state of Tripura as per Prime Minister’s dream project Khelo India.

Steps have been taken to develop the youth of the state by improving the quality of sports.
The development of the country and the state is possible if the youth society improves.

The state government is working in that direction. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said this at the inauguration of a newly constructed swimming pool and men’s hostel with 100 per cent beds, synthetic athletics track and distribution of district-wide sports equipment at Regional Physical Education College in Panisagar on Thursday.

In the function organized at Panisagar Panchayat Samiti office premises CM Manik Saha said that various steps have been taken to make the state drug free since the establishment of the present government.
The state government has seized large quantities of drugs in the past few days and going ahead with zero tolerance policy and trying to make Tripura drug free.
