Vijay Diwas celebrated at Albert Ekka War Memorial in Agartala

Bangladesh was able to achieve independence in 1971 due to the bravery of the Indian soldiers and the indomitable courage of the freedom fighters. Speaking at the 51st Victory Day organized at Albert Ekka Park in Lichubagan on Friday, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the Chief Minister laid a wreath at the memorial of 1971 freedom fighters at Ekka Park. The Chief Minister also handed over mementoes to the brave soldiers, who contributed to the liberation war and their families on the occasion.

In his speech, the Chief Minister also said that India and Bangladesh have many things in common, including language and culture.

He added that the victory of Bangladesh in the liberation war of 1971 is not only the victory of Bangladesh but also the victory of India.
