We will ally with any party that agrees for Tipraland in writing: Tipra Motha chief Pradyot Debbarma

On Saturday, Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma said that the party will not be part of any government who not agree to its demand for a separate state (greater Tipraland).

Debbarma added that the party will think about extending support to the government from outside if there is a hung assembly, but will stick to its main objective.

He further said, “After the elections, we will not be part of any government that does not agree to our demand for a separate state”.
While addressing a rally on Saturday in Kallyanpur under Khowai district, Pradyot Kishore said that BJP wants a fight between Tiprasa and Bengalis , and the party does not want to talk of development and progress.
Pradyot alleged that development has not been done under BJP’s rule.

Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit and his claims regarding developments in Tripura, TIPRA Motha Supremo said, “It is not his (Narendra Modi’s) fault. He has not been given the right information.”

Notably, Tipra Motha has distanced itself from the CPI(M)-Congress alliance as well as the BJP and has refused any kind of agreement with any party unless they give written assurance on Greater Tipraland.
