Youth Congress, NSUI gheraoed EM’s residence

Youth Congress workers surrounded the residence of Minister Ratanlal Nath at Krishnanagar in Agartala city on Monday.

Youth Congress workers started a strong protest by stopping the minister’s car and blocking the road without getting a response from Minister Ratanlal Nath.

They alleged that miscreants of the ruling party attacked the Congress digital campaign vehicles on the day of Makar Sankranti in the area adjacent to Mohanpur Fire Service as well as destroyed the decorations.

They added that various items were vandalized and looted, which created an atmosphere of terror in the area.

The police administration had to put strong efforts to control the situation.
