11 Kg weighted tumor successfully operated at AGMC & GBP Hospital

Specialist doctors of Agartala Government Medical College and GBP Hospital successfully removed a tumor weighing 11 kg from the stomach of a woman.

The woman named Nisarani Debvarma, 45 years old from Dhuraichhra area of Dhalai district, was suffering from various problems in her lower abdomen for many days. But due to financial weakness, the family members could not get better treatment for the woman. Then the family members of the woman, after knowing about the benefits of Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance Card, decided to take the woman to Agartala GB Hospital for better treatment as they have Ayushman card they came to the hospital and sought the help of the doctors in the hospital.

Then the doctors transferred the patient to the obstetrics and gynecology department after various tests.

After seeing the report of the tests, the specialist doctors decided to undergo a quick surgery on the woman. Recently, a team led by Obstetrician and Gynecologist Dr. JL Vaidya of AGMC & GBP Hospital successfully removed a tumor weighing 11 kg from the abdomen of a patient through surgery. Dr. Aparajita Pal, Dr. Amit Pal, Anesthetologist Dr. Bidhan Das etc. were in the said team.

The doctors recently discharged the patient as she was healthy and normal after the surgery. The family members of the patient expressed their gratitude to the doctors.
