Chief Minister Prof. Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the 8th annual conference of the Association of Radiation oncologist of India, northeastern branch at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Abhisat of Agartala this evening.

He said the diagnosis of patients depend entirely on the doctors. Therefore, proper diagnosis of the disease and examination is a very important topic.

The Chief Minister said that experience, advice and exchange of views at such conferences will show a new path to the health sector, including the treatment of cancer.

The government is seeking the development of health services in the state. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Cancer Center is currently taking an important role in the treatment of cancer. The state government has taken efforts to improve the service and infrastructure of this hospital.
