4.6 magnitude earthquake jolts Bangladesh, tremors felt in Tripura, other parts of Northeast

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake jolted Bangladesh on Friday Morning.

The tremors were felt in Tripura and other parts of the Northeast region.

According to the National Center of Seismology, the earthquake, measuring 4.6 on the Richter Scale and had its epicentre in Bangladesh.

There were no reports of any loss of lives or damage to property due to the earthquake. 

The tremors were felt at 10.16 am (IST).
