While inaugurating the Primary Agriculture Rural Market of Udaipur Bandoar on Tuesday, Agriculture Minister Pranjit Singha Roy said, “Farmers are food donors.
The central and state governments have taken various schemes for the development of agriculture and the welfare of farmers in the state. All these plans are being implemented in the state”.
He added that 1,386 crore has been disbursed through Kisan Credit Card in the state for overall development of farmers.
The Agriculture minister further said, ‘The state government is providing fertilizers, agricultural machinery, seeds etc. to increase the income of the farmers”.
He added The state government is also working to empower women through self-help groups.
Apart from this, Agriculture Minister Pranjit Singha Roy also inaugurated the Ichachhara Primary Rural Agricultural Market.
He interacted with the farmers there as well as highlighted the various plans of the state government for the overall development of the farmers.
