The opposition leader Manik Sarkar supported the demand of Greater Tipraland, which is being raised by TIPRA Motha.
Amara Bengali staged a protest in front of their state office against the statements of opposition Leader Manik Sarkar on Tuesday and burned the effigy in this regard.
Amara Bengali claimed that the demand for Greater Tipraland is unreasonable and they are against it.
Amara Bengali State Secretary Gauranga Rudra Pal said that the demand can cause division among the people of Tripura.
Besides, he raised finger against CPIM for creating extremists during the tenure of the CPIM government.
He also alleged that the policy of CPIM is threshing and situational politics to gain power, which cannot be allowed to continue.
Further, Amara Bengali State Secretary criticised Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman for claiming the demand for Greater Tipraland is not unconstitutional.
Amara Bengali condemned all parties including the ruling party BJP for political games, as all are trying to gain people votes.
