AP Girijan Sangham a constituent of Adivasi Adhikar Rashtriya Manch(AARM) has began today(10-11 January) through a colorful rally and huge public meeting at Parvati Puram of Vizianagram District. The main speakers were AARM’s National Convener, Jitendra Chaudhury and National President, Dr. M. Babu Rao. The speakers has vociferously condemned the Modi Government’s sinister design to further marginalise the Adivasi people in the country by curtailing their rights and means of livelihoods, together with all other socially backward sections and the poor.

Enactment of CAA, dismantling the jurisdiction of 5th Schedule and PESA Act, squizing the ADCs constituted under 6th Schedule, phasing out the Tribal Sub-Plan system in fund allocation and over all attack upon the Public Education would further jeopardise the causes of the Adivasis and backwards in many ways.

The massive rally has chanted for a pan India democratic unity of the Adivasi, Dalit, poors and all toiling masses, against the fascistic Hindu Rashtra design of RSS-BJP.
