Assam CM Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma arrived at Agartala MBB Airport on Sunday morning.
He received a warm welcome from Tripura’s ICA Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, BJYM state president Nabadal Banik and MLA Krishnadhan Das.
Mr. Sarma is on a day-long tour today to attend a series of campaigns for by-election candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The crucial by-polls scheduled to be held on June 23.
