The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has updated its travel advice for Bangladesh, warning of possible disruption and security concerns ahead of the national elections scheduled for February 12.
In its latest advisory, the FCDO noted that election campaigning began on January 22 and cautioned that political rallies are expected to increase, leading to large crowds, heightened security measures and potential transport disruptions.
