Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb attended as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of 40th Agartala Book Fair held at Hapania International Fair ground.
He said that Indian culture is the soul of India. Our traditional culture is developed through book fairs. At the closing ceremony of the book fair organized at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Mancha in the premises of the book fair.
He said the government is doing its best to develop the culture. He also lauded Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury for successfully organizing the 40th Agartala Book Fair. He said that the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs is making continuous efforts to take arts and culture forward. This year’s budget also has more allocation for the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs than before.
