Agartala, Aug 23: A controversy erupted over a recent comment made by state minister Bikash Debbarma after his return from Delhi. The remarks drew a sharp reaction from BJP’s alliance partner, Tipra Motha founder Maharaja Pradyot Kishore Debbarma, who expressed his views on social media.
In response to the row, Minister Bikash Debbarma on Friday clarified that there was no misunderstanding with Maharaja Pradyot Kishore. “There is no dispute with Maharaja Pradyot Kishore. Nothing has been said against him to the central leadership of BJP in Delhi,” the minister said.
He further added that he has always followed the instructions of the central leadership in Delhi, stressing that there should be no confusion regarding his earlier remarks.
