Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Deb Varma, visited the Construction site of the Science City Building

Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Deb Varma, visited the Construction site of the Science City Building at Badharghat.

The Deputy Chief Minister was accompanied by Secretary, Department of Science and Technology Tanushree Debbarma, Additional Secretary and Director, Department of Science and Technology Animesh Das, Engineer-in-Chief Deepak Das, Chief Engineer (Road and Building) Sanchita Das, Superintendent of Engineers and others.

During the visit, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasized on completing the work of each unit.

He also reviewed the progress of the construction work.

Speaking to reporters later, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Deb Varma said that science city is a milestone for Tripura and it is a completely new project. Although the work started in 2013, the work of this project was stopped in 2016. After the establishment of the new government, work started again with new initiative.
