A team of Eight officers led by Director Nripendra Sharma went for a surprise visit to Schools of Shipahijala on fourth Saturday.All HMs and teachers are caught unaware as it was a holiday for office.

Joint Director Rakesh Debbarma, Deputy Directors Rudradeep Nath and Pradip Sarkar along with all OSDs of Directorate of Elementary Education rushed into to various blocks of Shipahijala.

As many as 18 HMs , teachers will be showcaused.It has been learnt from sources that two Inspector of Schools will also be showcaused. Apart from this pay will be held up for 10 teachers due to negligence of duty.

The Director himself visited the farthest blocks and visited as many as 7 schools where he himself found gross negligence of 11 teachers and one Inspector of Schools whereas in other three instances pay has been held up .

As many as 23 Schools of Shipahijala district has been visited by the team. It has been learnt that irregularities in PM Poshan, unauthorised absence of teachers , non implementation of class appropriate teaching, not maintaining cleanliness etc.

Joint Director Rakesh Debbarma visited Jampuijala and found 5 teachers negligent in their duties. It is pertinent to mention that Director NC Sharma along with his team is constantly carrying out inspection for the improvement of Education.

It has been learnt that such surprise School Inspection under the leadership of NC Sharma will continue in coming days.
