For the first time on the occasion of the Dashami of Sharadotsav in Agartala, Mayer Gaman program will be held on October 7, 2022.

Durga idols from various clubs of the city will be taken to Dashmighat in a colorful rally on that day to make the Durga Puja idol immersion ceremony more interesting.

The Department of Information and Cultural Affairs will organize this event.

This decision was taken in the meeting of the executive committee at the conference hall of the office of the Director of Information and Cultural Affairs at Gandhi Ghat today.

Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Department Secretary PK Chakraborty, West Tripura District District Magistrate Debpriya Vardhan, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Asim Saha and representatives of various departments were present in the meeting.

In the meeting, the activities of each department were discussed in detail to organize the event successfully.

In the meeting it was decided that the clubs participating in this rally will be awarded in various categories.
