Eight arrested in Tripura for gangraping four girls
Agartala, June 15 Eight youths, accused of gang-raping four teenaged girls in western Tripura, were arrested within six hours of the case being registered, police said on Monday.
Yesterday on 13-6-2021 at 1305 hrs a gang rape case was registered in Srinagar PS on the basis of a complaint that the below noted 08 accused persons committed rape upon 04 victim girls at Dhariacherra under Srinagar PS.
After registration of the case within 6 hours Police arrested all the accused persons namely (i) Ripan Debbarma S/O Sri Rajesh Debbarma of Bardhaman Thakur Para PS-Ranirbazar (ii) Bimal Debbarma S/O Sri Sandhyaram Debbarma of Belapur PS-Ranirbazar (iii) Chankel Debbarma S/O Sri Gayam Debbarma of Brajabashi Para PS-Jirania (iv) Bishal Debbarma S/O Sri Pradip Debbarma of Bardhaman Thakur Para PS-Ranirbazar (v) Birkumar Debbarma S/O Sri Jogen Debbarma of Bardhaman Thakur Para PS-Ranirbazar (vi) Sajal Debbarma S/O Sunil Debbarma of Bardhaman Thakur Para PS-Ranirbazar (vii) Manojit Debbarma S/O Lt Swapan Debbarma of Brajabashi Para PS-Jirania (viii) Ajoy Debbarma S/O Lt Suku Debbarma of Rambok PS Radhapur from different places in connection with the case.
They were forwarded to the Ld. Court. Now all the accused persons are in Judicial Custody.
On 11-6-2021 at 0315 hrs a Dacoity case was registered at Srinagar PS to the effect that 10/12 unknown miscreant’s looted Rubber sheets worth approx Rs.20 Lakh from a truck bearing registration No. HP-63-C-1170 at Dundhrai Para under Srinagar PS.
On 13-6-2021 during investigation Srinagar PS officers detected the blind case and arrested the involved accused persons within two days.
The arrested persons are namely (i) Brijal Sharma S/O Lt Paras Ram Sharma of Palna Teheshil PS-Theog, Simla, Himachal Pradesh (ii) Karan Bhatti S/O Sri Shyamal Bhatti of Angi Satsangha Bhawan, PS-Solan, PO Boarg, Himachal Pradesh (iii) Sanju Varma S/O Joyram Varma of Delogarh PO Mohen PS-Theog, Simla Himachal Pradesh.
They were forwarded to the Ld. Court. Now all the accused persons are in Judicial Custody.
