Finance Minister inaugurates Teachers Day programme at Udaipur

“Human resources are the best asset in the country. Teachers are the best craftsmen to build this wealth. The stronger the human resources of the country, the stronger the country will be.”

Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy said this while inaugurating the National Teacher’s Day celebration and teachers’ felicitation program organized by the School Education Department at Rajarshi Hall in Udaipur on Tuesday.

On the occasion, the Finance Minister said, “The current central government has launched a new national education policy. From pre-primary education to higher education, necessary initiatives have been taken to make it world-class.

He hoped that India would one day become the best country in the world.”
Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is today beating America and China.

He said, “Today is the birthday of the former president of the country, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. His birthday is celebrated as Teacher’s Day. His contribution is remembered by the countrymen today.”
