Former Tripura Governor Ramesh Bais left State.

He will take oath as Governor of Jharkhand.

President Ram Nath Kovind recently appointed Satyadeo Narayan Arya as the 19th new Governor of Tripura replacing outgoing Governor Ramesh Baism, who has been appointed as the Governor of Jharkhand.

The newly-appointed Governor of Tripura, Satyadev Narayan Arya, arrived in Agartala on Monday afternoon.

Chief secretary Kumar Alok, director general of police VS Yadav and West Tripura district magistrate Devapriya Bardhan welcomed the Tripura Governor with a wreath at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala.
