The state cabinet meeting has decided to create 1,566 undergraduate and graduate teacher posts under the School Education Department. Out of these, 1,099 are undergraduate teacher posts and 467 are graduate teacher posts. Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said this at a press conference at the Secretariat Press Conference Hall today.
He said that this decision was taken in the cabinet meeting yesterday. The recruitment process for these undergraduate and graduate teacher posts will be completed through TRBT.
Moreover, in the cabinet meeting yesterday, it was decided to appoint 112 special educators for 125 Vidya Jyoti schools in the state. They will be appointed on a fixed-pay basis. The tourism minister also said in the press conference that the cabinet meeting has decided to appoint 198 junior engineers (degree-105 and diploma-93) in the Rural Development Department. This recruitment process will be completed through TPSC.
