The closing ceremony of third batch of driving training was organized today at the Institute of Driving and Training Research at Jiraniya.
Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury was present as a special guest at the closing ceremony.
A total of 37 women have received driving training in this batch.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu said, today is a significant day for this institution. Taking driving training for women at the institute is part of their empowerment. Trained women can also participate in the development of the society.
He said this training makes women employable, helps them become self-reliant and boosts their confidence.
These trained women drivers have not only paved the way for their own development, but have also paved the way for other women’s empowerment in the future. Today women are getting success in various professions. The Governor advised the trained women drivers to drive with professional attitude and focus on safety.
