Har Ghar Tiranga campaign kicks off in Tripura

The three-day long celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was started by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday August 13 by flagging off various colourful events.

The security has been strengthened throughout the state to keep the programme peaceful.

CM Dr. Saha kicked off the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ program at the Umakanta Academy by flagging off a bike rally and appealed to the all people of Tripura to hoist national flag in their homes.
He wrote in his official facebook handle that he started a bike rally in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ program as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of India’s independence.

He also stated that the programme is inaugurated from the Umakanta Academy terrace of the capital.

He urged every citizen of the state to hoist the national flag in their own homes from 13 to 15 August on Facebook.

He also hoisted a high mast national flag at the civil secretariat.

He also kicked off a procession of a motor-driven boat at Dombur reservoir of Narkelkunj, a famous tourist spot in Gandachhara subdivision of Gomati district.
He hoped that this pleasant place will become more attractive to tourists in the state’s tourism industry.
