Huge Quantity Of Ganja Seized in Tripura

On Tuesday late night on the basis of secret information O/C Kalamchaura PS along with staff conducted raid in the house of one Niranjan Karmakar S/O Lt Raj Behari Karmakar of Ratandola under Kalamchaura PS and seized total 111Kg dry ganja contained in 03 Nos plastic drum from the dwelling hut of aforesaid person.

During raid the said Niranjan Karmakar was not available in the house. In this connection a specific NDPS case has been registered against Niranjan Karmakar at Kalamchaura PS.

On Tuesday at about 1835 hrs O/C Teliamura PS received telephonic information to the effect that local public of Natun Bazar, Satish Para detained one Bishal Debbarma with some NDPS contrabands.

Accordingly Teliamura PS officers & staff reached at Satish Para & arrested the accused person Bishal Debbarma S/O Sri Manindra Debbarma of Satish Para, South Gakul Nagar PS-Teliamura & seized total 0.60 grm suspected to be Heroin contained in 29 Nos Plastic containers from his possession.

In this connection a specific NDPS case has been registered against the accused person at Teliamura PS.
