Agartala: Hyderabad’s historic Golconda Fort has emerged as one of the major attractions of this year’s Durga Puja celebrations in Agartala. The grand pandal at Lal Bahadur Club has been drawing large crowds since the day before Tritiya, with the footfall appearing higher than in previous years.

This year, several big-budget Durga Puja organisers across the city have come up with elaborate themes and spectacular decorations. However, Lal Bahadur Club’s Golconda Fort-themed pandal is attracting special attention from visitors and Puja enthusiasts.

Pranab Sarkar, president of Lal Bahadur Club expressed confidence that the club would witness one of the biggest crowds in the city this Puja season. According to Sarkar, the Golconda Fort theme is the club’s principal attraction this year and is expected to draw thousands of visitors.

With crowds gathering even before Tritiya, Lal Bahadur Club appears to be emerging as one of the prominent destinations on Agartala’s Durga Puja map this year. The growing public response has added to the festive excitement across the city.
