I’ll quit politics if corruption charges are proved: Bikash Debbarma; Demands Apology from Sudip Barman

Minister Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma has refuted allegations leveled by Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman regarding the property of the State Tribal Welfare Department Minister Bikas Debbarma.

In return he warned Sudip Roy Barman. On Saturday, Minister of  Tribal Welfare Department Bikas Debbarma refuted the allegations made by Sudip Roy Barman in a press conference.

Minister Bikas Debbarma gave a 48-hour time limit to Sudip Roy Barman for a press conference by him on this day. Within these 48 hours, minister Bikas Debvarma challenged Sudip Roy Barman for holding a press conference and saying that the allegations made by Sudip Roy Barman were “false allegations”. Otherwise, Bikash Babu warned from the press conference that he will file a defamation case against Sudip Roy Burman.

On that day, Minister Bikas Debbarma alleged that “Sudip Roy Barman has made this complaint to spoil his political career”. On this day, Minister of Tribal Welfare Department Bikas Debbarma gave the account of all his properties along with the information from the press conference.

“MLA Roy Barman has filed a complaint against me in the assembly and the Pradesh Congress Bhavan alleging that I bought Dr. Ila Lodh’s building for Rs 7 crore. I challenge him to prove this claim. If he can, I will retire from political life,” Minister Debbarma declared.
