Tripura People’s Front supremo Patal Kanya Jamatia, joined Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday along with thousands of her followers.

Patal Kanya Jamatia after joining BJP said”Not greater Tipraland, we want Greater Unity for indigenous development, peace and security and BJP is the platform”.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, BJP State President and Rajya Sabha BJP Candidate Manik Saha, Union Minister Pratima Bhoumik and others welcomed the newcomers in the party.

In a major political development, Tripura People’s Front President Patal Kanya Jamatia joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday at Agartala.

Slamming the ruling party of TTAADC, Jamatia said that TIPRA backed miscreants had unleashed terror to prevent her workers from joining the joining event on Sunday at Agartala.
