Twipra Students’ Federation (TSF) calls 12-Hour Tripura Bandh on 28 August, Monday.
For the past several months, the TSF has been actively advocating for the adoption of Kokborok in the Roman script and the passage of the 125th Constitutional Amendment Bill.
Notably, Tipra Motha’s various divisions such as Tipra Women Federation (TWF) have advocated for Kokborok in the Roman script on various occasions.
They carried out a major protest to the Raj Bhawan Abhiyan on June 24.
On Sunday TSF has also orchestrated a protest march to Raj Bhavan, echoing these demands and called for 12-hour Bandh across on Monday.
