Iran briefly closed its airspace to all flights, allowing only international arrivals and departures with special permission, according to a flight tracking website. The advisory remained in effect for a little over two hours.

Meanwhile, U.S. President DonaldTrump said that killings during Iran’s crackdown on nationwide protests were declining and expressed belief that there were no plans for large-scale executions of protesters.
