JMACAB to resume protest from Jan 7
The Joint Movement Against Citizenship Amendment Bill a joint platform of Political and a political outfits which has been opposing the contentious Bill now an Act since it’s declaration has announced to resume it’s protest through a protest rally on January 7.
The organization withdrew it’s protest after meeting Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and Home Minister Amit Shah but decided to resume protest.
Speaking to a press conference Anthony Debbarma conver of the organization said ” We shall hold a peacefull protest rally on January 07 next and will also hold protest at Madhabvari on the day following to mark the completion a year of the incident.
The day January 08 will be observed as black day.
On the meetings with Chief Minister and Union Home Minister he said ” We have met the Home Minister He heard us and directed us to meet him once again with a detailed demand draft but almost a month passed no positive signs have been seen.
