8,000 IPFT voters joined TIPRA Motha
Around 8,000 voters of the IPFT party have joined TIPRA Motha ‘unconditionally’ to support the Greater Tipraland on Saturday.
The development came after IPFT MLA Mebar Kumar Jamatia was dropped from the cabinet.
Pradyot Kumar Deb Barman said that around 8,000 voters coming from 1,898 families have joined TIPRA Motha party to strengthen their fight for Greater Tipraland.
He also said that he strongly feels that all supporters of Greater Tipraland should all speak in the same language to negotiate with Delhi.
The royal scion said the results of by-election has indicated that a good number of Bengali voted for Tipra.
He told it indicating the second position of TIPRA Motha in Surma constituency.
He said that in a very short time, we secured the second position. Our main agenda is not snatching away someone’s right.
Pradyot said that the main demand of TIPRA Motha is to protect the right of indigenous people.
He further said that the main philosophy of his party is to maintain communal harmony.
