Recently, Miss Madhurupa Bhattacharya, daughter of Shri Mihir Bhattacharya Mahasaya of Sonamura subdivision, a resident of Natunnagar (Agartala Holy Cross College, first year student of B-com Honors) was diagnosed with chronic cancer and passed away on 02/02/2022.
Madhurupa was one of the leading photojournalists of Agartala Buzz (A media platform), an initiative of Business related startup community “TOTELL” based in Ker Chaumuhani of Agartala. From the bottom of our hearts, we express our deep respect and gratitude for their thoughtful deeds. our heart and soul are deeply saddened by the loss of our sweet and loving sister Madhurupa.
In the year 2020, when the people of the state were celebrating Shardiya with a rented heart in the shadow of COVID, an entertaining program titled “Khushir Para” organized by our organization was enlivened by the unique role of Madhurupa. Apart from the exchange of anything earthly, Madhurupa was the impeccable image of man and nature, which can be infused only with the pure and unconditional affection of the inner soul.
In this context, we resolve to form a social organization (NGO) called Madhurupa Memorial Cancer Welfare Society among us, and to extend a helping hand to the bereaved families of cancer patients in the state. Finally, we got the desired Registration Certificate from the Society Registration Department of the State Government on 02.03.2022 entitled “MADHURUPA MEMORIAL CANCER WELFARE SOCIETY”. Registration number being 8799 to 02.03.2022.
As she shown us the way of life, we will pave the way for this association in the future in terms of helping the bereaved cancer patient – that is our promise today. Finally, we would like to appeal to the people of the state to join us in the fight against cancer by associating ourselves as comrades in this noble cause of the association. The membership of the association is open to all subject to the rules.
