Union minister of state for Social Justice and Empowerment, Pratima Bhoumik handed over a cheque of Rs 1 lakh to the Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma at Guwahati on Friday

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote in his tweet that it was pleasure meeting with Bhoumik and she had contributed to the Assam’s Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) for the people in distress in the flood-affected areas of Assam.

He also wrote “Pleasure meeting Hon MoS, Social Justice & Empowerment, Ms @PratimaBhoumik Ji. My humble gratitude to Hon Min for her generous contribution of Rs 1 lakh to CMRF for people in flood affected areas. Grateful.”
