Mumbai Police registers FIR against senior NCP leader

Mumbai Police has registered an FIR against senior NCP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in the Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank scam.

He along with leader of Peasants and Workers Party Jayant Patil and some functionaries of the cooperative bank have been booked for allegedly causing losses to the tune of 1,000 crore rupees between 2007 and 2011.
