Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha inaugurated a newly-constructed PSA Oxygen Plant at IGM hospital complex along with a renovated pond on Wednesday.
CM said that the new oxygen plant will benefit the COVID-19 as well as all other patients.
He added that it is the biggest oxygen plant in North Eastern India.
Therefore, Tripura is ready to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic with the extra-mileage of the plant.
He also said the upward trajectory of COVID-19 cases in Tripura will definitely be controlled.
CM Dr Saha said the people are not wearing masks.
Thus, the government will impose strict restrictions to curb the spread of the COVID-19 infection among the people by making it mandatory to wear masks.
CM’s statement implies that people of Tripura will face stringent COVID-19 measures including mandatory wearing of masks from today.
MLA Dr Dilip Kumar Das, Health Department’s Secretary Dr Debasish Basu, AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder, and many others were present at IGM hospital during the inauguration.
