PM appreciates dedication of HPCL’s LPG Bottling Plant to nation at Goalpara; says “This will greatly help consumers in Assam, Tripura and Meghalaya.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended the commitment of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited’s (HPCL’s) LPG bottling facility in Goalpara, Assam on Thursday and expressed his belief that it will have a significant impact on consumers in Assam, Tripura, and Meghalaya.

In reply to a series of tweets from the Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, the Prime Minister remarked, “This will greatly help consumers in Assam, Tripura and Meghalaya.”

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited tweeted, “The union minister of state R Teli highlighted HPCL Goalpara LPG Plant’s bottling capacity of 20 Lakh cylinders per annum that shall ensure steady supply of clean cooking fuel to even the farthest regions of the Northeast and appreciated the efforts of our energy soldiers.”

Notably, On Wednesday, Rameswar Teli, the Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, formally inaugurated HPCL’s dedicated LPG Bottling Plant in Goalpara, Assam.

He said, “The plant occupies roughly 30 acres and has a capacity of 30,000 metric tonnes, enabling it to fill up to 2 million cylinders per year.”
