Police tighten security in Tripura’s Agartala ahead of Assembly elections in state

On 21.1.2023 from 1600 hrs to 2200 hrs conducted synergy vehicle checking operation though out the state in view of General Elwction to the Tripura Legislative Assembly-2023.

During checking total 11567 Nos vehicles have been checked at 180 Nos Naka Points, fine money collected an amount of Rs.6,80,800/-, 213 Nos Prosecution report under MV Act have been submitted and detained 102 Nos LMV & Motor cycle under MV Act in different districts.

During the synergy operation 84 persons were detained under various section of law, & seized 2.5 grm Heroin, 6.4 Kg dry ganja, 127 bottles foreign liquor in different Naka points.
