Tripura royal scion, Pradyot Manikya Deb Barman will challenge the Citizenship Amendment Bill in the Supreme Court.

Tripura royal scion, Pradyot Manikya Deb Barman is now New Delhi to meet up with lawyers to carry forward with his decision even as he stated this fight is not against any religious groups but it is about protecting the identity of the indigenous people of Tripura.

In his message to the people of Tripura on Tuesday, the royal scion said “I know you are angry, I am angry too but our anger is not towards a shopkeeper or a sumo driver; our anger is against our representatives. I am going to the supreme court. For the first time, the royal family will approach the supreme court to challenge the CAB I am going to SC with best lawyers for my people.”
