On the occasion of Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s 148th birth anniversary celebrations, the nation-wide Bharat Sankalp Yatra will begin today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the program from Jharkhand today. The program will be launched in the state as well as across the country from Rabindra Centenary Building in Agartala.
Along with this programme, Janjati Gaurab Divas and Prati Ghore Sushason 2.0 campaign in each house will also be officially launched. Tourism Minister Sushant Chowdhury announced this news in a press conference at the Secretariat today. Note that the program will be inaugurated at Rabindra Centenary Building at 10 am.
In a press conference, the tourism minister said that many public welfare projects and services have been launched after the government was formed at the center under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Bharat Sankalp Yatra will be launched to bring all these schemes and services to the people of the marginal towns of the state and to bring those who are not yet covered under these schemes and services.
Tourism Minister said that like last year, this year too, in the Prati Ghore Sushason 2.0 campaign, various projects and services of the central and state governments will be delivered to the people of the marginal towns of the state. Tourism Minister said that to make the developed Bharat Sankalp Yatra program successful in the state, a committee has been formed with chief secretary at the state level and district magistrates at the district level as chairman.
Moreover, 7 IAS officers have been assigned the responsibility of different districts of the state. They will be responsible for monitoring the evolving Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme. Moreover, the members of the state cabinet have also been given the responsibility of various districts. He said, our state is progressing in various areas in implementing the development program. It is through the participation of people from every part of the state that the developed Bharat Sankalp Yatra and Prati Ghore Sushason 2.0 campaign in each house will be successful.
