Shishu Bihar Alumni association organises a cloth donation programme “SAHAYATA”

SAHAYATA has been organised by Shishu Bihar Alumni Association today on 30th December, 2018 at various places of Agartala.

The members collected usable old clothes and distributed among the people who are in need.

Last year Western side of Agartala was covered and this year Eastern side. The members started from City Center and also visited Bankumari bazar, Adarshapalli and some other areas of Jogendranagar.

The matter ended up at a brick kiln of Baldakhal where clothes have been distributed among labourers of the kiln.

It should be mentioned that the members of Shishu Bihar Alumni Association remain involved in various kinds of social activities throughout the year.

Its a matter of pride that this association is popularly known as most vibrant among all alumni associations.

The members organise blood donation camp once in a year, extend supporting hand to the abandoned childrens on the first day of Bengali year, organises health camp and provide support to physically challenged childrens once in a year. Other than this activities the Association tries to inspire aspiring school childrens organising school level debate compitition “Vipralapta“.This shows the enthusiasm and dedication of the members towards the society which also caries the legacy which also carries the legacy and essence of original Shishu Bihar.

With full satisfaction the members conveyede their excitement to be a part of such events including “Sahayata” being organised since last year. The president Dr Arunabha Dasgupta and the Secretary Smt Sudeshna Gupta expressed their pleasure for succesful happening of this event.

This may inspire people from all sections to extent such support to the needy and welcome all other ex students to be a part who has not yet joined the association for doing such noble deeds.
