Agartala March 23: Shishu Bihar Alumni has proved that Sabka Sath Sabka Bikash Sabka Prayash by successfully organising a mega two day long Inter –Alumni Sports Meet in which eight Alumnis were brought under one single Umbrella by Shishu Bihar Alumni Association.
Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath pointed out that State Govt,. has given utmost importance to Education and this is reflected in the budget.He added that School alone cannot do anything and they need the support of Alumni.He urged that all Schools must have an alumni. In this regard Education Minister pointed out that active alumnis like Shishu Bihar Alumni must work to open alumnis in different Schools and a forum of Alumnis need to be set up.

He said that in higher Education the grading of Alumni is very important for NACC ranking of Educational Institutions.
Appreciating the efforts and innovative initiative of Shishu Bihar Alumni Association to Organise 10 events of games for men and Women he said,”Its good that Shishu Bihar Alumni is growing and carrying out various philanthrophic activities through out the year.
Director of School Education Smt Chandni Chandran in a mesmerising speech won the hearts of the participants. She appreciated the initiative of the organisers for organising such an event.She congratulated all the alumnis and hoped that SBAA will carry on their good work in future also.

Mayor of Agartala Municipal Council Sri Dipak Majumder in his speech pointed out the importance of Sports in binding people. Joint Secretary of Tripura Sports Council Sri Saraju Chakraborty hailed the leadership and activeness of the Secretary of Shishu Bihar Alumni Association Sri Abhijit Samajpati.
Secretary of the Association in his welcome address informed that they are going to form a forum of Alumnis. Priliminary talks with eight alumnis in this regard have taken place.He hoped alumnis under one umbrella will be able to raise voice against drugs and other social issues.

It is to be mentioned that the Sports meet was inaugurated by Central Minister Smt Pratima Bhowmik. Secretary of Agartala Press Club Sri Pranab Sarkar, President of the association Sri Amit Rakshit ,Vice President of the Association Tanaji Sengupta also spoke on this occasion. Convener of the Sports Meet Sri Nabajyoti Roy gave the vote of thanks.
