The 100th Birth Anniversary of ‘His Holiness’ Shri Shri Thakur Balak Brahmachari Maharaj will be celebrated on 27th October, this year. Thakur’s uncle visited Tripura occasionally for his personal work in the Royal Manikya’s household.
In order to make the auspicious day memorable, the Balak Brahmachari Foundation is making extensive arrangements to suitably celebrate the occasion. The celebration will commence from 1pm on Sunday, day of Kali puja at Sodepur near Kolkata.
The celebration programme will be attended by His Holiness Balak Brahmachari’s descedant, Honourable Dr Sib Sankar Datta and all the members of Balak Brahmachari Foundation.
Apart from this, the director of Hope Kolkata Foundation, Gita Venkadakrishnan will also attend the programme. 100 underprivileged children will be given nutritional support and hygiene kits by Balak Brahmachari Foundation and in the near future they will also provide education and health facilties to these children.
