To clear the extra rush of passengers Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), has decided to operate (02) two pairs of special trains between Silchar and New Haflong. The trains will run for 1 trip each on 10th July and 11th July, 2025.

Special train no. 05621(Silchar – New Haflong) special will depart from Silchar at 18:00 hourson10th July, 2025 on Thursday to reach New Haflong at 22:30 hours on same day. Similarly, train no. 05622 (New Haflong – Silchar) Special will depart from New Haflong at 23:20 hours on 10th July, 2025 to reach Silchar at 04:00 hours on 11th July.

Special train no. 05623 (Silchar – New Haflong) special will depart from Silchar at 06:00 hours on11th July, 2025, Friday to reach New Haflong at 10:20 hours on same day. Similarly, train no. 05624 (New Haflong – Silchar) Special will depart from New Haflong at 10:50hours on11th July, 2025, Friday to reach Silchar at 15:25 hours on same day.

The trains will run via Arunachal, Katakhal Jn., Badarpur Jn., Bihara, Bandarkhal, Jatinga Lampur to reach its destination during both directions.
