Now the state government is providing various facilities to the farmers Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department Pranajit Singha Roy said this while speaking at the signing ceremony of appointment of Tripura Horticulture Corporation Limited as C&F agent for the entire state for the sale of different agricultural equipments at Pragya Bhavan yesterday.
He said that the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has taken initiative to provide the farmers with seeds, fertilizers and various pesticide medicines and equipment on time. The Prime Minister has planned to double the income of farmers by this year In fact, it has begun to hear fruit. The state government is also moving on the path of the Prime Minister. Under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, every farmer is getting 6 thousand rupees annually. Also they are getting loan facility through Kisan Credit Card. He appealed to CAMCO to open I service centre in every district of the state and 1 dealership in every comer of the state for the welfare of farmers.
