Agartala, June 10: The Tripura Government will examine the various demands raised by surrendered extremists, Tribal Welfare Minister said on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters after a meeting held at the Secretariat Chamber, the minister informed that representatives of the surrendered extremists were invited for discussions regarding their grievances and demands.
“We spoke with them today and listened to their concerns. The government will examine their various demands and take appropriate steps after reviewing the issues,” Debbarma said.
The meeting focused on matters related to the rehabilitation and welfare of surrendered extremists. Government officials and representatives concerned were present during the discussion.
