The third Lok Adalat in the state is going to be held today. This Lok Adalat will be held at the Tripura High Court as well as at all the district and sub-division level courts across the state.
In these Lok Adalats hearing of the cases related to compensation for road accident, matrimonial disputes, bank loan, BSNL bill payment, reconcilable criminal cases (under MV Act, TP Act, TG Act, Excise Act), cheque bounce cases (NI Act), consumer rights, recruitment related and other reconcilable criminal cases will be held tomorrow. A Lok Adalat bench has been constituted at the Tripura High Court.
Already necessary notices have been issued to the litigants and the responders. The Chairman of State Legal Services Authority justice Dr. Amarnath Goud has issued necessary instructions to make the Lok Adalat successful.
