The Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Abhishek Banerjee remarked that votes in favour of Mamata Banerjee-led TMC administration through a cohesive manner will deliver citizen-centric governance; promoting the state’s vast development.
Banerjee urged the electors to refrain from splitting votes a process which will benefit the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Addressing a press conference here in Agartala, Banerjee said, We came to Tripura in August 2021 with our vision of restoring democracy in the state. In the 10 months that went by, more and more people have joined Trinamool Congress. However, we have been attacked since the day one so that our message does not reach the people. Our rallies and meetings have been disrupted multiple times and our workers were even attacked. But, the threat and intimidation have only strengthened our resolve to fight for the people of Tripura.
He also said “Trinamool Congress has been by your side since day one. We have been on the streets for your dignity and the safety of our women. But if we don’t have the people’s support, we will not be able to win this fight. This is not a political fight between different parties. This is a fight for democracy and safety of our people.
