Agartala, March 23: In a significant political development ahead of the upcoming ADC elections, Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman, founder and supremo of Tipra Motha, has indicated that the party will not enter into an alliance with the BJP at this stage.

In a video message released on Monday, Pradyot Kishore stated firmly that he would not compromise on the interests of the Tiprasa people.

“I will not betray the Tiprasas. I will not form an alliance with any political party without receiving some form of guarantee and without the implementation of a triparty agreement,” he said.

His statement comes amid ongoing political speculation regarding a possible alliance between Tipra Motha and the BJP for the upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections.

The remarks are being seen as a strategic move, signaling that any future political alignment will depend on concrete assurances and fulfillment of key demands related to the Tiprasa community.
